Thank You to the Oakford Players for a kind Donation!
The Oakford Players in Devon have chosen the Exmoor Pony Project to support this year.

A huge thank you to the amazing Oakford Players, who have chosen to support the Exmoor Pony Project with a very kind donation of £500. This comes at a time when the project faces a mountain of winter costs and challenges and it is very much appreciated.
The Oakford Players - Oakford, Mid Devon
The Oakford Players are a local amateur dramatics group who put on shows at Oakford Village hall once or twice a year. These can be anything from comedy plays, variety shows, or murder mysteries. You can read more about them here at
https://www.oakford.community/oakford-players/
The Oakford Players very kindly hosted me in November to give a talk to their group and villagers of Oakford, about the Exmoor Pony Project and show them some videos of the ponies. It was a lovely morning and the group will be coming to meet the ponies in person in the New Year.
The
Exmoor Pony Project
is privately funded and the large herd here includes a wide range of Exmoor ponies from different herds - all living together with their strong family and friendship bonds. The aim is to safeguard this herd and maintain their good quality of life, happiness and wellbeing for the long term. Various Exmoor ponies here have found themselves in trouble or in jeopardy, through no fault of their own, including orphans and foals facing registration obstructions.
We welcome new Patrons and donations to help with this work -
thank you!
